Cabbit goes to London

I've 'landed' in London, post-internship.

I'm staying in a dorm at Middlesex University. For 12 pounds/night I'm getting a single room with free high speed ethernet. I scored big time.

I must have done something nice, or suffered a lot at some point recently -- as I hauled my luggage around on the tube on my way here, I got unsolicited help in carrying my large and heavy luggage from eight people. My arms and shoulders are still killing me, but I can't imagine how I'd feel if I had gotten no help.

People here are really nice!

I'm finishing off Tin Man. I've watched some of Chuck and Veronica Mars and intend to start from the beginning and follow through with that. I plan to catch up on my Kyle XY and when I'm home, Smallville and Torchwood with Wolfie. And Doctor Who -- I also need to catch up on what has aired so far this season. I've also seen most but not all of Farscape and all but the last few seasons of Stargate.

Tomorrow is another day of pagan goodness, and then from Tuesday I will wander around:

(2) Soho
(3) British Museum
(4) V&A
(5) Science Museum

Not sure where else I'll hit, but I intend to have fun! Company is welcome. :)
