Poly Camp Ontario

The volunteers of TorontoPoly.ca are pleased to announce Poly Camp Ontario 2007, our first annual camping event.

The event will most likely take place at a private campsite about a half hour north of Orangeville, near Shelburne. The site has a hot tub and a pond, and convenient hiking nearby. Carpools will hopefully be organized, depending on volunteers.

Cost will be minimal, although a small amount of the money may go towards fundraising for future PolyCamps, and for TorontoPoly.ca. Volunteer discounts will be available.

We're hoping to have workshops, but the number of workshops present will depend upon the number of presenters who volunteer to be present. We should at least be able to have some directed discussion groups.

Edit I feel obliged to add that my distaste is personal. I don't think there's anything wrong with someone who likes this. I don't get it, just like I don't get scat and watersports. I personally find it kinda disturbing.

I just can't help but look at it and think of horror movies I've seen where eyes appeared on the wrong body parts because a demon thing was taking over the person's body. Creepy.
