France

So, I'm interested in doing the Europe thing.

My idea is to find some kind of part time job being a nanny or English teacher somewhere in France.

This way, I could
(1) Brush up on my French through immersion
(2) On weekends, visit other places in Europe

I'm looking for advice on buying flights to France... are any of the airports more, or less affordable?
I'm also looking for advice on traveling Europe, and on finding work.

All of the tickets I see on first glance look to be in the $1000 USD range... We'll have to see if I can swing that by this summer. Doing this in between this job and going back to school would make a lot of sense, which means this summer.

Aikido

I'm thinking about joining an Aikido dojo instead of a gym.

There are two near my place.

This one sounds very good and is slightly more conveniently located (Gerrard and Yonge), but no prices are listed, and the class times look less convenient for me.

This one is almost as convenient (just north of Dundas on Broadview, so, a quick hop on the streetcar) from home, and has a beginner package of $150 for unlimited classes for three months, complete with aikido uniform. The class times are many and relatively convenient.

Anyone interested in joining me in doing this?

Anyone knowledgeable about martial arts have any comments?
