Today I believe I am all planned out.

Tomorrow (Monday), I am hanging in Melrose until other plans occur or I head to Acton.

Tuesday I will be arriving in Cambridgia bright and early and chilling in Hahvahd Square, Porter, or Davis area. Tentative plans to meet up with [livejournal.com profile] ebenezer, but more company would be welcome. Tuesday evening I will be at the Diesel for much socializing, and then I'm off to hang with Cos.

Wednesday I meet up with AY and [livejournal.com profile] futabachan mid afternoonish to head back to Palenville, we overnight, and then get up bright and early to head back to Toronto area.

Thursday evening I have a fancy dinner with my parents for their 30th Anniversary.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I have no plans. There will be a forthcoming post asking about NY events/plans, but if you know of anything in TO area or would like to book my time that weekend, feel free to say so now!

Weefun!

Today I was in a MUCH better mood. Still not a stellar conversation starter, but no lingering feeling of sorrow. Yay!

I sent some emails regarding Ad Astra stuff yesterday, and today I sorted out more of my plans for the next few days.

At the party I went to today, I had a blast. It is much easier to have conversations with folks when there are more people around. There were also a lot of people present who I wanted to see. Either people I've seen at parties who I've never had a chance to get to know, or people who have unusual commonalities with me like [livejournal.com profile] mzrowan. And, the stars combined to give me a chance to have these conversations with those people. I came away energized and happy, and perhaps even with more closure on some chapters of my life. I would have been happy to stay longer, but at the same time, I feel like I got what I needed to do done there, if that makes any sense.

I also was able to see people I know and like happy, and this is a goodness.

The chocolate cheesecake I made, which I had topped with a hardened chocolate shell, went off quite well. If anyone needs a recipe for a gluten-free chocolate cheesecake, let me know and I'll send it your way. Although, there's no great secret to it... it's really the crust that is a problem with the cheesecake, and the solution they use is relatively simple.

I'm having fun, and I'm glad I'm here, but by the same token I'll be glad when it's time to head home. I have business to finish and people to see in the GTA.
