Today I had an ultrasound, and then they had me empty my bladder, and probed my vagina with a long probe of some sort. Afterwards, my right ovary was all hurty, with shooting pain down the top of my thigh. That was a new experience for me. At least, I THINK it was my ovary. Didn't feel like any pain I've felt before, anyway.

Yesterday I learned that, no, taking that shortcut through the unidentified forest is a bad idea. And not plugging your cellphone in over night because you'll charge it when you get to work? Also a bad idea. Last of all, I'm a dork. :)

I also learned that people on the Toronto community can be Assholes. I mean really. It's one thing to laugh about someone falling into a river. It's another thing to respond to a related request for information with no information, and only laughter. Posting the comment isn't necessary to giggle over the post. All it serves to do is to let the poster know that you're laughing at them, and to give you the kick you get out of making fun of the person. In middle school and elementary school, I often would be teased until I cried, and then, the perpetrators would stand and point and laugh at me. It appalls me to see adults engaging in similar behaviour — even on the internet.
