To car or not to car

If I get a car now, I will have the freedom of a car, as well as the expense. However, commuting in my more fuel-efficient car will save pyat and me a lot of money, cutting our gas costs nearly in half; this wouldn't pay for the expense of owning the car, but it would help. I will also have a G2 license, which means I'll have to take the G2 roadtest in August (a nuisance, and a $75 expense)

If I wait to get a car until after August 8 (4.5 months), I will just trade my license in for a full G license, with no roadtests whatsoever.

Decisions are hard. How much of a nuisance is a G2 license?
How difficult is the G2 road test?
ugh.

Farscape-y goodness

I went to the Space website looking for the date of the Dr. Who premiere, and discovered that this weekend is the Canadian Premiere of the Peacekeeper Wars Miniseries.

Anyone here interested in a Farscape marathon on Saturday? (I'm busy Friday)

Episodes from the last season begin airing Saturday at 10 a.m. Part 1 of the miniseries will be repeated from 3-4 p.m., and then Part 2 will be at 9 p.m.

I don't know how my parents would feel about having it here, alas, even though our TV is very nice and all.
