Death and Hollywood
Dec. 14th, 2004 12:25 am( Death )
After that, what can I say? I went to Hollywood. It was smaller than life. Disappointing, yet there, and real, and part of a real city. It's like the glamour which is hinted at to the rest of the world takes on an every day, banal patina when you see it in the real world. Celebrities stood here. So what.
Still, I got lots of exercise and got a better idea of what Hollywood, and LA, are truly like. I think I may have gotten some almost-blisters too, and by the time I got "home" I thought my feet were going to fall off.
