I need someone to strip me naked and examine me all over. For tics, that is. Any volunteers available for tomorrow night?

Annwfn

Annwfn was amazing. The land is beautiful, as are the people who care for it and brought cheer to it this weekend.

Freya was amazing and Kali burned away those things I no longer needed. I am left with one single blurry prom photo of me and the ex-husband. My shields are down in the right ways and I can feel again those things I must feel.

And lessons, many lessons were learned. Maybe not always the ones I wanted, but valuable ones nonetheless.

I'm going back

Annwfn is a BEAUTIFUL tract of land that is open to the entire pagan community. Without traffic it is only two hours north of here. Camping is a mere $15/night and there are mattresses and beds in the goat lodge and temple for small gatherings or for those who cannot cope with outdoor camping. And the place is very holy indeed.

Barring the opportunity for a better road trip, sometime between April 2nd and April 19th, I'm going to go back and spend more time there. We can all use some quiet time to be one with the woods.

I would welcome company as long as it is company that will respect my space when I need to wander or meditate alone. Someone with a car would be particularly welcome so we could drive up together.

They also have regular work parties, right now in particular in prep for Beltaine. These involve working during the day followed by a celebratory party at night. There's one this coming weekend and another the weekend of the 17th, if I understand correctly. Please let me know if you'd be interested.

Annwfn is in need of a new composting toilet and a new (to them) propane fridge.

The propane fridge may take a while to manifest, but I found at www.compostingtoilet.org that there are many different kinds of DIY composting toilets that may work as well as a professionally made one (and be far cheaper!).

Thing is, I'm not knowledgeable enough about construction etc. to look at them all and determine which ones are "right" for Annwfn and which ones are possible for volunteers to build, practically speaking.

Anyone know about these kinds of things?

Buying it all brand new would cost > $2000. Too much!

And I haven't even mentioned the jaccuzzi and hot tub that need some work.
