I feel lightheaded and fuzzy of thought. Sitting up without weaving a little is a bit challenging. Slight waves of nausea as I ate a bowl of cereal. Waves of increased fuzziness and lightheadedness come and go.

Is this the plague that's going around, or did I just really overdo the dehydration?

once I get my new laptop sorted out and I'm sure I'm done with the old one, would anyone like to tell me how to take it apart or help me take it apart, or do it themselves?

If it can be fixed it'll be worth some money... I'm wondering if cleaning it out with ionized water and letting it dry would make it work again. And if it can't be made to work it can always be cannibalized for the parts and those can be sold. And the rest of it might just be fun to play with/take apart.

So I've missed my doctor's appointment. Called and asked him to call me and do it over the phone, and it has now been half an hour since the appointment was supposed to be and he hasn't called me. Grr. I need that prescription. I guess I should have gone, but I thought "yeah, sure, he'll call me during my allotted appointment time and it'll work out fine!" Fucking doctor's and their fucking phone exchanges. I want to talk to him, not leave a fucking message with some woman who isn't even in the same building with him.

Anyway. I'm trying to decide if I should go into work. Today is the Purim carnival, which would have been fun. If I am sick, on one hand it'll be easy to handle because I don't have to do anything but co-supervise. On the other hand, if I'm sick better to miss a day when my students will not suffer for its lack than to go today, get sicker, and miss tomorrow or more.

Anyway. Not sure if I should go into work or not. I have about half an hour to decide.

So I just watched the last episode on disc 4 of The Big O, and it leaves the plot very much up in the air.

Amazon doesn't seem to have any other Big O dvds. Was the series ever finished, or is it just that it hasn't been released on DVD yet?

Oh my god, I'm in LOVE.

The internet rocks my world.

After hours of tediously making math problems for my students to practice with, I got to the factoring problems and decided it was a little too much. So I searched the internet and found this awesome site, www.math.com. It generates worksheets with random algebraic problems distributed as you please.

*waxes rhapsodic for several more paragraphs*

This rocks.
