Weekend fun?

Anyone know of anything social going on this weekend that a girl could do?

I've been excluded from Wicked City, so that's not an option. And I don't want to sit on my ass all weekend, alone.

Road trips?

I want to go on a one to two week road trip in April while I'm on my spring vacation. (3 p.m. April 2- noon April 19)

The only trip I've thought of so far is southward, to some combination of Santa Cruz, Monterey, LA, and San Diego.

I'd go north to Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver, but there are people I want to visit in Portland who won't be around, so I'm putting that off until the summer.

Any good suggestions for nearby road trips?

When would you be available?
How likely are you to be available at that time/how interested are you in this trip?
Do you have a car we could drive? Is it automatic?
Do you have any destinations you'd prefer or prefer to avoid?

I'm still not sure who I'd end up going with, so if you are interested I still might not go with you. I might decide to be brave and go alone, or that I want a quiet trip with a specific friend, or something like that.

My current plan is to rent a car and flee. That would give room for up to 4 people including me, unless others were willing to pitch in money towards a van rental.
