w00t -- really good (and important) news
Sep. 11th, 2003 01:05 pmSo one of the editors just asked to speak to me in private. I'm thinking, "Did I do something wrong?"
She takes me into one of the meeting rooms, looks at me, and says, "Don't worry, its not something bad."
Apparently, they are 99% sure that they want to start having 6 month internships instead of 4 because it matches the school year better and it matches the rhythm of the magazine better. And they are 99% sure that they are going to do that with THIS batch of interns. They'll know for sure in a few days. They wanted to know what I would do with that time (and she seemed to like my answers a lot), and whether I was interested/likely to accept. She said that they were very happy with the work I've been doing ("What work," I think), and that they'd like it very much if I said yes.
So this means that I'm almost certainly going to be gainfully employed until the end of December! I win!
