Hm, the next AAAS convention is in Seattle in early February. Looks like I might have to visit... it apparently is THE place for networking for the National Association of Science Writers, and an excellent opportunity to get story ideas for science. And since its so close, I don't have much of an excuse to not go... We'll have to see.
