phew, sort of...
Apr. 28th, 2003 12:18 pmFound the unemployment stub. Should have sent it in on the 12th. Oops.
Filled it out and I'll send it in today on my way to work.
On the down side...
Over the last two months I've spent Way Too Much. In part, I've indulged myself in ways that I haven't in nearly 6 months. I broke and said, "Fuck it, I'm going to buy myself the things I want/need."
Mostly things like bookshelves and such, but a few nifties like the leather jacket and garb for ritual and pretties.
My credit card bill for last month that is due real soon is ~$400. I had a $300 leftover debt from before. And this month I have apparently already spent around $600 and the billing period isn't over yet, but $200 of that is the installation kit from Speakeasy which will get refunded when I mail in the rebate. So that's ok.
My biggest concern is that I just wrote a double rent check (last half of deposit and rent for next month). I've missed at this point about two unemployment checks, which I will get eventually. And I just paid the min. on my credit card.
Is there enough in my account for all of this? Probably... last time I checked I had about $1200 and I've gotten paid some since then from the rink (about $100-300, not sure). So I should be fine. But its going to be close to the wire until the check from my fund in Canada arrives or another unemployment check gets here.
meep.
