Got offered a job doing telefundraising for SF Symphony. Goes through till September.

4 hour shifts, MWF 1-5, all weeknights 5-9, Sa 10-2

I have to take at least four of them, and can take no more than nine (obviously). They want me to take at least 2 evening shifts.

$8/hour + commission. No cold calling. Seem to expect a certain number of hires to run away screaming, so if I find something better I can probably leave, no hard feelings.

I'm calling him back tomorrow morning to let him know if I want it.

Whaddaya think, should I take it?

Let's just say they have very good reason to expect some percentage of new hires to run away screaming....
