broken laptop charger
Apr. 10th, 2003 01:53 pmSo last night when I moved my laptop from the living room to my bedroom and plugged it in, I discovered that the cord on the AC adapter was broken. Not on the end that I can do without.
Which means that when this charge runs out, it will be a paperweight.
I DO live right next door to MacAdams, but... but...
An extra one is listed on the apple.com store as $79. Ouch. My notes and a lot of other important stuff are on there, though, and I can't charge it at all without that battery.
This might be covered by my AppleCare warranty, but that requries mailing the battery out and waiting for it to come back. Ick.
Slept well, though. More articles published in the Weekly, more enthusiastic feedback from sources. w00t.
