So I've pretty much given up on getting my old cellphone back. Some loser is using it as a palm pilot somewhere, I'm sure, if they have managed to get themselves a new charger and cradle.

grr.

So I went down to the Verizon outlet near Market and First. Took me 40 minutes to get there because of fucked up buses. Took me 40 minutes to get service.

Apparently, I'm not eligible for any of the 'cheap cellphone' deals as I already have a plan, so a new cellphone will run me at LEAST $100. My old phone will cost me on the order of $400 new. EEK!

Got home a few minutes ago.

So now I need to search for a used phone on the Verizon network. I can go with a cheap used one or try to get one like my old one for more money.

Unless anyone here has an old verizon cell they don't want?

I actually might. I'll have to check about, and it is old mind you. I think it might even actually be an old GTE (they were bought out by Verizon) If it's still around here, it's just gathering dust, you you're welcome to just have it.

Hm, that, or pay $100 for the same model I had before.

hmhmhm... Let me know if you find it; maybe I won't have purchased this palmphone after all.

or..
