Traveling England: give me ideas
Apr. 25th, 2008 05:48 pmOK, if you were traveling England, where would you go? If you live in England, what cities or attractions are favourites of yours?
I like seeing cities I can imagine myself living in. I like checking out local subcultures (goth, kink, poly, queer, fan) and visiting significant pagan places.
This weekend:
-I basically have a long weekend this weekend. There's a pagan ritual at an ancient stone circle tomorrow run by Dobunni Grove, a Druid group, but my only way of getting there involves a really awkward roundabout route, so I'm not sure if I'll go.
-Next weekend (2-5) is also a long weekend, and I have BiFest in London Saturday, and will probably wander around the city the rest of the weekend, or at least the day after.
-Weekend after that (9-11) I have Witchfest near London on Saturday, and could stay in London again for Sunday if I want to
-Weekend after that (16-18), no plans
-Weekend after that (23-26), packing up to leave Bristol on Saturday, attending Beltane Bash in London Sunday and Monday.
-Week and weekend after that (27-29, and 30-June 1), no plans!
-Weekend after that (30-June 1), no plans
-Tuesday, June 3, polyamory meetup in London
-Rest of that week, no plans
-Following weekend (6-8), no plans
-Tuesday, June 10, bi meetup in London
-Wednesday, June 11, leave, spend many hours hiding with my Wolfie, and then leave for Boston
-Wednesday June 11 at about 11:35pm, arrive in Boston (NEED TO FIND PEOPLE TO STAY WITH!)
-Thursday, June 12-Saturday, June 14, no plans
-Sunday, June 15 - Boston Pride!
It feels like a LOT of time to fill up with activities, and yet not enough time to see everything! I'm having trouble committing to even basic plans. For instance, do I take the bus to London next Saturday morning, or Friday night and stay the night? Where do I stay, and do I book it now or what? Brains... and if only I had my own computer back, I could plan all this at my own pace at home. :(

Date: 2008-04-25 05:24 pm (UTC)to people I know in Britain I can do that, but I'm mostly responding to
say that you could probably stay at Cathedral again if you wanted in June.
(I'd just have to check with the housemates again.) Have fun! :)
