Montreal recommendations?
Dec. 16th, 2007 05:58 pmI'm in Montreal Monday-Friday with my Mom.
I'm looking for recommendations of the following types of things:
-good restaurants that are remarkable (entrees of 15-30/plate are par for the course with my mom and dinner, although cheaper is fine too) (in particular, a good fondue and crepe option would be good)
-plus size stores that don't exist in Toronto
-good places to visit as a tourist
-bohemian parts of town that might be nice to visit
Thoughts and/or suggestions?

Date: 2007-12-17 12:25 am (UTC)This is absolutely of no use to you this week, but if you ever visit the US, check out Avenue. There is one just over the border in Niagara Falls. Nicer clothes than any of the plus-sized stores here carry, and at half the price even before sales. And they always seem to be having a sale.
