Today I cooked up a storm, including a first.
-rotini and cheese with broccoli mixed in, cooked from scratch using an easy microwave recipe for the white sauce which became the cheese sauce, for six people
-a s'mores ice cream cake... I used graham cracker crumbs, butter, and honey for the bottom crust/base. I then used a layer of President's Choice s'mores ice cream (similar quality to Breyers, for the Americans reading this), followed by a layer of chocolate and mini marshmallows, followed by another layer of the s'mores ice cream, and topped with a sprinkling of shaved ice chocolate

For the middle, I used the bottom of a smaller springform pan as the form to cut wax paper discs. I poured tempered chocolate on one disc, and then a thicker layer on the second one. I put the mini marshmallows in the still melted chocolate of the thin layer, poured more chocolate between the cracks, hardened that in the freezer, and then put the thicker layer disc on top of that, and put it all back in the freezer. When I removed it I peeled the wax paper off both sides and put it on the bottom layer of ice cream and then put on the second layer, and the chocolate shavings. For the chocolate I used PC milk chocolate, which is not quite as good as lindt or ghirardelli, but close, and not nearly as expensive.

It was my first successful ice cream cake; my previous attempt was not adequately frozen and turned into a soupy mess.

I learned the following things:
-layers of hardened chocolate in the middle of a cake need to be kept extremely thin, or they become very difficult to cut through
-holy fuck this combination is rich
-ice cream cakes are fun and easy to make
-putting tempered chocolate on wax paper, hardening it, and then pulling the paper off, is fun!

I commend your creations. Especially the cake! The only reason I didn't run off with all of it is because it would have melted before I got it home. :)
