Right, so there was talk of plus size shopping tomorrow afternoon. Anyone still up for that?

If so, we need to figure out a game plan. I have no idea which of these malls are close to each other...

Avenue:
Watertown Mall
Fellsway Plaza
Fields Corner Shopping Centre
Dedham Plaza
Northgate Shopping City
Redstone SC
Saugus Plaza
Sherwood Plaza

Lane Bryant:
Cambridgeside Galleria
Square One Mall
South Shore Plaza
Burlington
Natick Mall

Torrid:
Emerald Square
Holyoke Mall
Silver City Galleria

When would be good to rendez-vous? I'm also thinking of stopping by the european bra shop and Good Vibes before or after.

Speaking of bras...I have some that might fit you. I have a strange magical portal that keeps spitting out bras that are way way too big for me, but they might be the right cup size for you.

I'm going to need to bail (would you be up for a rain check at the Walden Galleria some weekend?) and blitz on my paper instead. [livejournal.com profile] linuxspice may still be available, if she can escape The Physics Paper From Hell....

"Good Vibes" -- do you mean Grand Opening?

I can't shop with you, but:

The Natick Mall's Lord and Taylor also has a nice plus size formalwear section. (30 minutes west of Boston)

The Burlington Mall is probably the best overall mall on your list. (30 minutes north of Boston)

The Emerald Mall is almost in RI, but it's fun mall.

There's an Avenue in the shopping plaza at the rt. 28 and 16 interchange in Medford. It's small, but it's 5-10 minutes from MIT by car or a 5-10 minute walk from the Wellington T stop.

the Watertown Avenue is the *best* of the Local ones. It's the one I posted about last year where I bought over $600 of stuff for about $40. The clearance section at that location is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

it's also going to be your best bet, I think, for getting to a Lane Bryant - I don't know if you're driving or taking the T, but driving they're 10 minutes from each other. Taking the T, the Avenue is on the 70, and you would take the 70 to Central Square (15m), the Redline to Kendall, and the Cambridgeside Wave shuttle to Cambridgeside (or go to Kendall, to Cambridgeside, up to Central and out to Watertown on the 70, depending what you do first).

(it's also right outside the Target in the mall, making that an especially favoured mall of mine to go to ;-) )

Just thought I'd let you know that Lord and Taylor has a great plus size section. Lots of really classy suits & work wear along with great everyday clothes. There's one at the burlington Mall, one at the Natick Mall, and I believe there's one at the Prudential Center, as well.
