[BOSTON] Reminder: Plus size shopping
Dec. 28th, 2006 09:45 pmRight, so there was talk of plus size shopping tomorrow afternoon. Anyone still up for that?
If so, we need to figure out a game plan. I have no idea which of these malls are close to each other...
Avenue:
Watertown Mall
Fellsway Plaza
Fields Corner Shopping Centre
Dedham Plaza
Northgate Shopping City
Redstone SC
Saugus Plaza
Sherwood Plaza
Lane Bryant:
Cambridgeside Galleria
Square One Mall
South Shore Plaza
Burlington
Natick Mall
Torrid:
Emerald Square
Holyoke Mall
Silver City Galleria
When would be good to rendez-vous? I'm also thinking of stopping by the european bra shop and Good Vibes before or after.

Date: 2006-12-29 05:17 am (UTC)The Natick Mall's Lord and Taylor also has a nice plus size formalwear section. (30 minutes west of Boston)
The Burlington Mall is probably the best overall mall on your list. (30 minutes north of Boston)
The Emerald Mall is almost in RI, but it's fun mall.
There's an Avenue in the shopping plaza at the rt. 28 and 16 interchange in Medford. It's small, but it's 5-10 minutes from MIT by car or a 5-10 minute walk from the Wellington T stop.

Date: 2006-12-29 01:33 pm (UTC)it's also going to be your best bet, I think, for getting to a Lane Bryant - I don't know if you're driving or taking the T, but driving they're 10 minutes from each other. Taking the T, the Avenue is on the 70, and you would take the 70 to Central Square (15m), the Redline to Kendall, and the Cambridgeside Wave shuttle to Cambridgeside (or go to Kendall, to Cambridgeside, up to Central and out to Watertown on the 70, depending what you do first).
(it's also right outside the Target in the mall, making that an especially favoured mall of mine to go to ;-) )
