A to do list, possibly of minimal interest to you-all, of administrative foo:

TODAY:
-Call KL and confirm receipt of cancellation form
-Email D and let them know they'll have to mail checks
-Nudge thespian and futabachan and A about Boston trip! *Nudgenudge*
-EMAIL Boston trip folk with my constraints so we can work out when we're leaving and getting back

-Mess with Telus plan
-Try to activate Treo 600 on Telus, and sell leftover phone
-Sort out SB snafu
-Pay off Direct Loan when check has cleared (sort of)
-Trade in Driver's License (August 6th or later)
-Sell leftover skates!

When all this is done, I'll have one 12K USD loan left, and be done moving over to Canada. If, by some miracle, the people to whom I indefinitely lent money in the US were able to pay me back tomorrow (it could happen!), that would go down to only 10K. Paying off at the rate they currently require would take about 7 years, if it weren't for accruing interest.

So, here's a reasonable goal: Be debt free in about half that time. It sounds possible to me...

I am totally freakishly busy today. this week is all going to be tight for talking, with Pride. what did you need to nudge me about?

The hotel reservations are made. Would leaving Thursday late-afternoon-to-evening work, with an overnight stop at a Pagan temple in Palenville? If possible, it would be great if we could run to Home Depot first thing Friday morning with an empty Aztek to grab several sheets of plywood....

Well, there's a Treo 600 branded for Sprint (CDMA) and a Kyocera 7135, both palmphones. If I can get the 600 activated on Telus, I will sell the 7135 to someone... perhaps you? If I can't, I'd be happy to sell the 600 to you, but doubt that it would be terribly helpful.

Let me know if you're still interested! No idea about prices yet.

The more time we get for ourselves in Boston, the better, I figure. Who cares about being conscious upon arriving at work Tuesday! I scoff at being well-rested, and will worship the goddess and god of caffeine, eating the food of the gods in equal measure!

I'm working on a Suspects gathering for sunday night, as my excuse to go to Mary Chung's, btw. aside from that, as the unemployed person, I have no time constraints, just a need to know when I'm leaving and returning to arrange for the cats to get their vittles.
