The good news post

I just got handed my benefits package. This means they are keeping me! Yay!
Also, the sleepwatch story did not get killed. Yay!
I got lots done this weekend. Yay!
Three day week. Yay!

Also, in the "No, Gir, that's bad!" category:
All the stuff I got done this weekend was not what I HAD to get done, so I had to stay up late last night getting the necessary stuff done. Yay!
And tonight, I may be up late again because the sleepwatch story is due tomorrow. Yay!
Just as much work in less time. Yay!

Although I jokingly include the gloomy lining to this silver cloud, the truth is that the goods are outweighing the bads by a huge margin.
