at work, still kinda sick but not feverish. Very stuffed up and possibly a little weaker than normal.

The process of planning Unseelie's college career is proving to be frustratingly complicated. We thought it would go like this:

  1. transfer credits from Mass Bay College to CCSF
  2. assess credits, GPA, etc., and determine what further education would be necessary for admission into the various colleges he's interested in
  3. given that info, make a decision about which college to shoot for and what classes to take when, etc.
  4. take those classes and apply to four year college
  5. follow through on the transfer

Unfortunately, it appears that unless he plans to get his AA through CCSF, they are not interested in transfering his MBCC credits onto his CCSF transcript... they want him to apply to the four year institutions by sending transcripts from both CCSF and MBCC. argh!

All that, and we also still have no idea how many units he has, what classes, and what his GPA was at MBCC. Hopefully we'll find out today since we found out they can fax him an unofficial transcript.

*sigh*

After two days of nothing, coming back to work is a bit of a shock to the system. I was in such a good groove before I got sick, and I lost it...

So I'm working on the calendar and I think if I read about one more "important event in science history" my eyes will glaze over and my forehead will hit the keyboard. SO BORING.

But mindless, and I could use mindless right now.

Still doing pretty good, albeit congested. Looks like I'm S.O.L. for a ride to S&P tonight, but I can cope with taking the train. Still need to figure out what's up with Dominic. And I'm still waiting for a fax from MBCC with an unofficial version of Unseelie's transcript. I'm worried someone will see it, be confused about what it is, and throw it out. So I just keep on checking.

I think I will take off a few minutes to play some mindless solitaire and then get back on the calendar horse. Weee.

Overall though things are actually good. I'm just complainin'.

Time...

...for some interesting dialogue.

There's some educated, intelligent, and opinionated folk on my friends list.

Some people I've spoken to are convinced that electronic voting machines are the things of the future; others are convinced that they are far more corruptible than old fashioned methods. What do you think?

And while I'm at it, what do you think of INTERNET voting?

aww, hell

Who am I kidding? I feel like shit. I'm leaving work 1.5 hours early so I can take a nap before heading merrily out to S&P.
