Santa Con and Fondue Freds

I was wondering if anyone on here knows when Santa Con is happening. I don't necessarily need to know about San Francisco's SantaCon... the date for any SantaCon would be helpful.

Also, I'm thinking of going out to dinner at Fondue Fred's but I've heard mixed reviews about the place. I don't expect it to compare to La Fondue, but I was hoping it would compare to my generic home made fondue of gruyere and kirsch. Anyone here been there?

sewing for money, anyone?

I'm wondering if anyone who has spare time this week would like to do some sewing for me for some money.

I'm not sure *I* want to do this... a part of me wants to do my project myself.

Anyway, I bought a cheerleader costume that is too short and doesn't have enough breast room, but should be alterable with some more fabric to be a top and a bottom of a cheerleader uniform. Basically, cut it in half, put in an elasticised waist, add some fabric to the top, and add in a zipper or something on the back of the top. Add some decorative ribbon and the patch I bought, and I'll have the uniform I've wanted to make.

I really wanted to have it for Saturday, but I don't see myself getting that done with arcticelf visiting and keeping me busy. So my desire to do this myself is clashing with my desire to have it for Saturday. :(
