Did anyone read this series?

The Deniers, a series originally published by the National Post and later republished as a book, is one environmental journalist's search for credible scientists who dispute the current consensus on global warming. Lawrence Solomon is purportedly an environmentalist who nonetheless does not buy into the idea that anthropogenic climate change is definitely happening.

Lawrence Solomon's designation as "environmentalist" seems suspect.

There are climate scientists who don't believe in manmade global warming, but they are in the minority. There is always some disagreement in the scientific community, and this is a good thing(*) because sometimes the popular ether theory or whatnot turns out to be crock. However, as long as the naysayers are outnumbered by a large factor, it makes sense to listen to the overwhelming majority and take the actions they suggest.

(*) The exception is when a special interest with a political agenda pays people to make up bad science. This sometimes happens even when the politcal agenda is a good thing, in which case I support the politics but not the methods.
